Laura Vandervoort at the 2nd Annual Saving Innocence Gala

Laura Vandervoort (with Oliver Trevena) attended the 2nd Annual Saving Innocence Gala at The Crossing on December 5, 2013 in Los Angeles, California.

The night will be dedicated to the commitment of furthering the vision of Saving Innocence to end the commercial sexual exploitation of children and to restore the cultural values of innocence and human worth. Founded in 2010, Saving Innocence has successfully rescued and restored hundreds of American-born children victims of sex trafficking, along with providing awareness and resource services to hundreds more.

Proceeds from this year’s gala will not only help in working towards the ongoing awareness, program development and training but also the opening of the Hope House. The Hope House is located in the heart of South Central Los Angeles, at the epicenter of the largest sex trafficking areas in Southern California. The Hope House will provide a home for children to escape their trafficker and access a number of life saving services under one roof that they so desperately need.
